Description
Collacott holiday cottages in Devon are set in the heart of North Devon's beautiful unspoilt countryside, near the pretty thatched village of Kings Nympton, voted "Village of the year 1999", by the "Campaign for the Preservation of Rural England". Collacott has been a small Devon cottage holiday complex for the past 30 years. Nestling on a southerly slope our beautiful holiday cottages in Devon are set around a cobbled yard and pond. Although it is off the beaten tourist track it is within easy reach of Exmoor with its wild ponies, deer and sheep, plus the rugged north coastline with its dramatic cliffs or the long sandy beaches of the west coast.
Whilst retaining original features, such as wooden beams and fireplaces, our holiday cottages in North Devon are furnished to a high standard creating a cosy and comfortable cottage holiday. All beds are either 3 foot singles or 5 foot doubles and are made up ready for your arrival. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with dishwashers, microwaves plus all you would need in a modern kitchen.
At Collacott cottages in Devon have tried to create a safe environment for all, especially children. The complex is set back from a quiet country lane, and is approached by a long drive. Each holiday cottage has its own private fenced and landscaped garden with a patio, lawned area, barbecue and garden furniture. The Barn has its own large paved barbecue area. Collacott holiday cottages In North Devon are delightful and the place and is enjoyed by many of our guests who return annually.
Our BHS Approved Riding School can cater for all ages and abilities on a range of well-schooled quality horses and ponies. We have become a favourite destination for many looking for horse riding holidays in the UK. For those who wish, we can even accommodate your own horse or pony. Claire, our resident Intermediate Instructor, is available for group or private lessons so you can learn to ride, or improve your riding skills, in the safety of our all weather arena, or hack out through the pretty Devon lanes.

South Molton is a small market town on the River Mole in north Devon, England. It is located not far from North Molton, Mariansleigh, Kings Nympton, Bishops Nympton, Brayford, and Chulmleigh and is one of over three hundred towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Exeter (population 106,772), Plymouth (population 243,795), and Wells (which has a population of 10,406 according to the 2001 Census).
